HOW TO MAKE FREE WORD ART ONLINE IN FUN SHAPES
School just started this week at DePaul, and the windows are currently open bringing in the fresh cool Fall air. I am so excited to have Fall upon us and to break out the sweaters and boots soon. I’ve already made some homemade apple butter I will be sharing with you soon, and we are headed to an orchard tomorrow for apple picking, corn maze, and some fabulous fall weather. I really do love Summer but Fall is definitely my favorite. Below is a free Fall Apple Word Art for you to download as well as directions on HOW to work Tagxedo which will allow you to make your own FREE word art online.
There are lots of ways to make word art, and some of them can get very complicated. That is why I love Tagxedo. Tagxedo allows you to choose from a selection of shapes and colors and then enter your own words. You can then save the image as both a JPEG and a PNG.
Here is what the homepage looks like. You want to click on the CREATE button. There are also lots of examples that are fun to look at; people have gotten really creative with their Tagxedo art.
You will then come to this screen. Look underneath the image for some tidbits on how to work the program.
To enter your words, click on “Load” at the top left. Save and Share will obviously let you get your finished product.
“Color” Respin means that the colors of the words will just reshift – it it fun to play with and see how shifting colors change the look.
“Theme” Respin: If you click on the arrow on the right, it will allow you to choose different COLOR themes. Or, you can press the rotating arrow button and it will randomly cycle through the different color schemes for you.
“Font” Respin: If you click on the arrow on the right, it will allow you to choose from a collection of fonts. Or, you can press the rotating arrow button and it will randomly cycle through the different fonts for you.
“Orientation” Respin: This allows you to choose the direction that you would like your words to face.
“Layout” shifts the words around.
